Season Seats and Group Sales Account Executive - Augusta GreenJackets (North Augusta, SC)

Position Overview:

The Account Executive’s main responsibility is to produce ticket revenue by developing and maintaining season and group ticket accounts. The AE will sell new season seat and group accounts to decision makers within businesses and non-profit organizations. The AE will have a responsibility  to sell new season seat accounts through outside sales appointments with businesses, and over the phone sales to local residences. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

  • Meet all sales goals assigned.

  • Set appointments over the phone with decision-makers, consistently meeting the weekly goals for sales appointments.

  • Master all sales presentations (taught in sales training), and deliver it in front of company decision-makers, tailoring packages according to each company's needs.

  • Handle objections in an effort to bring in new season seat/group accounts.

  • Develop and maintain a database of potential group and season-seat customers.

  • Contact group leaders through the database and through new leads, particularly after a direct mail piece is released, to bring in new sales.

  • Prospect for quality leads, particularly through asking for referrals.

  • Provide customer service to existing accounts by visiting with them during games, as well as provide amenities.

  • Make phone calls during the season and off-season to ensure personalized, continual contact with ticket holders.

  • Work with the box office to update sales reports.

  • Complete any customer service an operational duties as assigned.

 

Requirements to apply

  • Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience selling groups and season seat sales (internships must show longer than two years in a ticketing department)
  • Candidates must want to sell and be in a sales position as a career- not marketing or social media

As a BlueClaws Ticket Sales Assistant, you will receive a top of the line sales training program and be responsible for maximizing revenue through the sale of Lakewood BlueClaws ticket packages including season tickets, partial plans, mini plans, group outings, and individual game tickets. Duties & responsibilities:

  • Help create different issues of the Catch of the Day (Play Bill) game program throughout season
  • Assist in stadium set-up for theme nights and distribution of giveaway materials
  • Assist stadium production manager with in game entertainment, music, instant replay, promotions, scoreboard graphics, and other projects as needed

Position Overview:

The Sr. Corporate Sales Account Executive is responsible for producing corporate sponsorship sales revenues. The SCSA must set appointments with local business leaders and sell new corporate sponsorships for the club as well as service and maintain existing sponsorship accounts.

Essential Job Functions:

• Meet all sales goals assigned.

• Set appointments over the phone with decision-makers, consistently meeting the weekly goals for sales appointments.

• Master all sales presentations (taught in sales training), tailoring packages according to each company's needs, and handling objections in an effort to bring in new season seat accounts

. • Sell new local corporate sponsorships for the organization. Must be proactive in cultivating new business.

• Renew Sponsorship accounts that are assigned.

• Sell Suite Box and Club Box inventory.

• Sell group sales inventory.

• Work with the Director of Corporate Sales as it pertains to developing new season ticket holder relationships/groups.

• Manages any customer concerns, expectations, and issues as they come up.

• Visit with accounts and maintain and develop relationship with sponsorship clients throughout the season and off-season to ensure personalized, continual contact.

• Assist in the creation and implementation of consumer and business to business based promotions.

• Maintain database and add new database leads.

• Prospect for quality leads.

• Manage all client fulfillment reports.

• Provide support for all events at Whitaker Bank Ballpark and at various offsite locations.

Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.

• Candidate must have 3 years minimum experience in Corporate Sales with a track record of sales success.

• Experience selling advertising, sponsorship, digital and promotional programs.

• Superior communication skills a must.

• Must be able to multi task in a fast paced environment.

• Solid organizational and time management skills.
